The short version

TabRasa Studio is built to work without collecting your data. On the self-host and free tiers there is no account and no server: your tabs are parsed, rendered, and played entirely in your browser, and saved tabs live in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB).

Local storage

Tabs you save, your theme choice, and your fretboard preferences are stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data removes them. Nothing about your tabs is sent to a server on these tiers.

Pro accounts

If you create a Pro account, an email address (for sign-in) and the tabs you choose to sync are stored in an isolated database so they can be available across your devices. This data is used only to provide the sync feature and is never sold or shared.

Tracking

TabRasa Studio does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy and a cookie notice will be updated first.
